PP005 & Updated Koala Habitat Protection Planning Laws

Koala Habitat Protection in the City of Shoalhaven is managed by the following State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPP):

SEPP (Koala Habitat Protection) 2020
SEPP (Koala Habitat Protection) 2021

The Gateway Determination for the Planning Proposal was issued on 25 February 2021 prior to commencement of the SEPP (Koala Habitat Protection) 2021 on 17 March 2021. Any impacts of SEPP (Koala Habitat Protection) 2021 will be considered during and after Public Exhibition of the Planning Proposal.

The subject land is not mapped as a koala management area under SEPP (Koala Habitat Protection) 2020 and therefore the Planning Proposal is not inconsistent with this SEPP.
