Milton Showground – Community Garden Proposal

Council is seeking community feedback on the proposed use of the northeastern corner of the Milton Showground for a community garden.

The proposal is to enter into a licence agreement with a local not-for-profit organisation to establish and manage a community garden. The intended use of the land includes:

• Operating a community garden
• Hosting workshops and community activities
• Engaging with a broad range of users
• Plant propagation
• Providing a family-friendly space
• Potential for future fruit and vegetable sales

This engagement is directly related to the use of the land, rather than the footprint or layout of the garden.
