What is the Liveability Census?
The Liveability Census is an online survey run by data collection company, Place Score. The census gives Australian’s an opportunity to share information about what is important to them in their local neighbourhoods and discuss how it is performing.
Who participates in the Liveability Census?
Every two years Place Score facilitates the Liveability Census. The company partners with local and state governments, the private sector and not-for-profit organisations to invite the Australian community to share their opinions and experiences about where they live.
What happens to the data and information gathered through the Liveability Census survey?
Information captured by Place Score through its Liveability Census is shared with all levels of government to help influence decision making and priorities for the delivery of key services and infrastructure to enhance the lives of residents in the participating communities.
How can I participate in the Liveability Census?

How long do I have to participate in the Liveability Census?
The 2025 Australian Liveability Census will open on Neighbour Day, Sunday 30th March 2025 and close on 30 June 2025.
Can I win a prize if I participate in the survey?
Place Score is offering participants a chance to win cash prizes.
All participants will go in the draw to win a $1,000 shopping voucher, or one of 40 $100 vouchers that can be used at more than 200 businesses.
