We understand the importance of your road networks for connectivity to schools, work, services, and of course to each other.

With Council's priority landslip package now out to tender, Council is hosting Kangaroo Valley & surrounds community gatherings.

The community gatherings are an opportunity for the National Emergency Management Agency, Resilience NSW, Transport for NSW and Shoalhaven City Council to engage with the community and update on the landslip tender package and social recovery.

Community will be encouraged to speak directly with the representatives from the three tiers of government and government agencies as we all work together to provide support to the people of Kangaroo Valley & surrounds.

Representatives at the community gatherings may include:

  • Federal and State Members of Parliament
  • National Emergency Management Agency
  • Resilience NSW
  • Transport for NSW
  • Shoalhaven City Council

Outreach

Our Recovery Outreach Team will be at the events to support the community. They are also available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on (02) 4429 5888. The team is here to listen because they know that just talking to someone can make such a difference. If you prefer, you can email Janis.Gordon@shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au or Jennifer.Healey@shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au.

If you were affected by floods you might be eligible for financial support. For more information, take a look at Service NSW.

Additional resources and information are also available at Flood Recovery Shoalhaven | Get Involved Shoalhaven (nsw.gov.au).
