Second Update: State Significant Development Applications

The Independent Planning Commission has contacted Council and provided an update on the process for the West Culburra Concept Application and the Longbow Point Golf Course application.

The Long Bow Point Golf Course application has been reported to the Independent Planning Commission. You can view the documents on the Commission’s website.

The Commission will be writing to submitters for both applications in the next day or two advising of the process for these applications. Council will provide a further update when this information is available via the Get Involved mailing list for the planning proposal.

There has been some confusion about how this relates to the planning proposal. The commission is NOT considering the planning proposal. It is considering two development applications that are being assessed by the NSW Government as State Significant Development. These development applications are separate to the planning proposal.
