Events in Huskisson
The Shoalhaven Region hosts a wide variety of events every year. These range from major sporting events to arts and culture, food and wine, live music, carnivals and fundraising events. Many of these events happen in and around Huskisson.
All of these events have an impact on the local economy. They bring in visitors who spend money in local businesses and help to support an ongoing vibrant food and retail economy.
As access to the region continues to get easier it is likely that the number of events will increase overtime, and Council would like to get your thoughts and opinions on the impact of these events on the Huskisson community.

The survey received over 4000 views and over 2800 people completed the survey.
What we heard
- Of the respondents 827 were local residents, 1844 were visitors and 55 were local Huskisson /Woolamia business owners.
- The majority of respondents believed that events contributed positively to the Huskisson economy.
- The majority of respondents also believed that Spring and Summer were the best seasons to hold events in the local area.
