Exhibition period ends

Council would like to thank the community for its feedback on the proposed new Active Transport Strategy (including updates to the Pedestrian Activity Mobility (PAMP) and Bike Plan).

The draft document was on public exhibition from Monday 26 August until Sunday 29th September 2024 and is now complete.

During the exhibition period;

- 92 people completed the survey on the Council’s Get Involved webpage.

- 88 per cent of the survey respondents currently live in the Shoalhaven.

- 47 per cent of participants agreed with retaining the draft document in its current form.

- 39 per cent of survey respondents supported the draft strategy with changes.

Each of the survey responses, and other submissions received during the exhibition period, will now be summarised in a consultation report (which will include changes requested and being considered).

The Active Transport Strategy will then be finalised by December 2024.
