Willinga Lake Flood Study and Floodplain Risk Management Study & Plan Complete

The Willinga Lake Flood Study and Floodplain Risk Management Study & Plan has been successfully completed.

Council will seek endorsement from the Shoalhaven Southern Floodplain Risk Management Committee for these reports to be adopted by Council. Following Council adoption, the final Willinga Lake Flood Study and Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan reports and associated flood mapping will be made publicly available on Council’s website.

After these reports have been adopted by Council, Council staff are able to request grant funding from the NSW Government Floodplain Management Program to implement flood risk mitigation measures included in the Plan.
