Help stop illegal dumping: share an idea & have your say

Illegal dumping is a growing issue in the Shoalhaven and tackling it takes a whole community effort. Ways you can assist with addressing the issue are as follows:

• Report illegal dumping: If you see it, report it. Report via RID Online Public or contact Shoalhaven City Council's customer service team to share details.
• Share ideas: Have a practical idea to reduce illegal dumping? Add it to the Ideas Wall - big or small, your suggestion can help shape future Council actions.
• Quick Poll: Take our quick poll to share your views and help us understand how aware the community is of legal disposal options and services.

To encourage community solutions, we are also running a competition – ‘Bright ideas for a cleaner Shoalhaven’

• How to enter: Submit a valid idea via the Ideas Wall on the Get Involved page
• Dates: 2 February – 22 March
• Prize: Win 1 of 3 $100 gift vouchers for eligible entries.

After submissions close, community voting opens from 23 March, where you’ll be able to vote for the most practical and impactful ideas to help guide future strategies to reduce illegal dumping.
