Sussex Inlet Ellmoos Reserve Playground - Naming Dedication of Playground

At Council’s Ordinary meeting on 27 July 2021, it was resolved:

That Council rename the Playground equipment area in Ellmoos Reserve (adjacent to RSL Building) to the Georgia Fletcher Playground, dedicated to the memory of Georgia Fletcher, subject to any necessary community consultation and parental consent. – MIN21.526

Georgia Fletcher was well known in the Sussex Inlet Community. Sadly, Georgia’s family and the community lost her to an aggressive childhood cancer on 3 June 2021 at the age of 12 years.

The naming dedication will involve the placement of signage adjacent to the playground which is due for completion by late December 2021.
