New Plans to be considered by Council

Council will consider a new design in line with a smaller scope and targeted budget for Sanctuary Point Library at the upcoming Ordinary Meeting on Tuesday 15 April.
Plans for a larger-scale library were paused in March 2024 as part of a series of measures taken to address Council’s financial position. Following a resolution of Council (ref. MIN.24.404), Principal architects for the project, Brewster Hjorth Architects (BHA), were tasked with a redesign that takes inspiration from Warilla Library which they delivered in 2019.
To see the proposed design and features, you can view BHA’s feasibility design report here. The report and meeting agenda for the Ordinary Meeting on Tuesday 15 April can be found here.
