Feedback invited on St Georges Basin Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan

Residents in the St Georges Basin catchment are invited to have a say on the measures they would like to see implemented to manage flood risk in their community.

The Draft St Georges Basin Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan (FRMSP) is now on public exhibition with feedback welcome until Sunday 15 March.

The plan recommends 15 measures to mitigate flood risk in the area. It was developed following completion of a technical floodplain risk management study, which identified the most effective and feasible measures to manage flooding against criteria including financial, environmental and practical considerations.

Residents are now encouraged to view the FRMSP and associated documents and provide feedback.
