Project completed

Shoalhaven City Council will be installing outdoor exercise equipment at Titania Park, Greenwell Point in 2022.

Background

From the Capital budget 2021/22, $200,000 was allocated for exercise equipment and pathways at Titania Park. The footpath component was completed in September 2021. The new outdoor exercise equipment will be delivered in 2022.

The multigenerational exercise equipment will foster a healthy lifestyle, free of charge for all ages and abilities. Each piece of equipment will be located just off the pathway for easy access, and to allow users to enjoy exercising at various locations within Titania Park.

The expected budget will accommodate a variety of equipment pieces which will be grouped in clusters of 2 to 3 items.

Community Engagement

Council informed the community of the proposed locations for the exercise equipment and sought feedback on the type of equipment they wish to have installed. The results of the consultation informed the decision-making process regarding the location/s and equipment types.
