Council has now completed the field survey and developed a Preliminary Alignment. ‘Preliminary’ as it remains subject to sub-ground and stormwater investigations.

The Preliminary Alignment has improved the alignment, shown in the aerial site map on this project page, by skirting the electrical and gas easements providing reduced impact, and also resulting in less impact to the land owners.

This work is programmed to be further developed into a Far North Collector Preferred Alignment for Council to consider as its Adopted Alignment.
