Nowra Showground Master Plan - Council Resolution

At the Ordinary Council meeting on 23 May 2022, Council resolved the following in relation to the draft Nowra Showground Master Plan (MIN22.351):

That Council endorse the Draft Nowra Showground Master Plan to progress to public exhibition for a period of 28 days.

1. If no significant adverse feedback is received as part of the exhibition, the Draft Nowra Showground Master Plan be finalised and deemed endorsed; or
2. If significant adverse feedback is received a further report on the outcomes of the public exhibition of the Draft Nowra Showground Master Plan will be submitted to Council with any proposed changes.

As a result of the above resolution, Council publicly exhibited the draft Master Plan throughout June 2022. At the end of the exhibition period, Council received 8 submissions. The submissions were assessed by the Project Control Group, where some minor errors were adjusted in the Master Plan. None of the adjustments were deemed significant in order to trigger a report back to Council.

As a result, the Nowra Showground Master Plan was deemed to be endorsed.
