Community Participation Plan Survey Results

The Community survey on the draft Shoalhaven Community Participation Plan for Planning and Development Matters (CPP) closed on 14 March 2025. We thank community members for their participation in this survey and their feedback.

The draft CPP outlined how Council will engage with the community on matters relating specifically to land use planning and development within Shoalhaven. Over 340 people visited the survey page and 65 people either visited multiple pages across the site or downloaded the document. Five (5) survey responses were received from the community and four (4) written submissions were received.

Next Steps:

• Council will review and consider the feedback received in the submissions from the community and staff and make minor adjustments as required.
• Incorporate the CPP as part of the Community Engagement Strategy 2025-2029. To see the document please click here.
• Make the final document available through the Council website and as required by the EP&A Act, the document will also be available through the NSW Planning Portal.
