Community Infrastructure Strategic Plan (CISP) Review – Summer Survey
The latest survey for the CISP Review closed on 31 January 2025.
A total of 929 surveys were completed for the 25 sample sites by a broad cross-section of our community. Thank you to everyone who participated.
The five (5) sites which received the most responses were:
- Plantation Point Reserve, Vincentia
- Ray Abood Village Green, Cambewarra
- Malcom Moore BMX Track and Boat Ramp, Basin View
- Moona Moona Creek Reserve, Huskisson
- White Sands and Voyager Park, Huskisson
Some of the other key results include:
The majority of people who responded to the survey were using the listed sites for recreation. Each person who responded to this survey could nominate a variety of uses.
Over 72% of the people who responded to the survey were satisfied with the facility that they were using with over 49% being extremely satisfied or satisfied.
The feedback from this survey will be considered alongside over 1000 survey responses received in May-June 2024.
What will happen with the survey results?
The summer survey results will be reported to Council and considered as an input to the CISP Review. The CISP is Council's highest-level plan to guide the planning and strategic management of open space and community facilities owned and/or managed by Council.
