Delivering for Your Future (Delivery and Operational Plan, Budget, Fees, Charges and Services)

Consultation has concluded

Shoalhaven City Council is seeking feedback on the draft Integrated Strategic Plan which includes the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, Operational Plan and Budget.

The Integrated Strategic Plan 2027 outlines the community’s aspirations and long-term vision for the City. It is prepared by Council in collaboration with and on behalf of residents, businesses, all levels of government and local agencies, to help build and maintain a vibrant and sustainable future for the local community.

Should a special rate variation be approved by IPART, the documents provide additional amounts on the spend on asset renewals and maintenance from the additional revenue to be received.

Structure of the Plan

In the past, two separate planning documents were created to meet the requirements of the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework - the Community Strategic Plan and the Delivery Program and Operational Plan.

This year, a new approach has been adopted to display clear alignment of how the Delivery Program and Operational Plan meets the objectives and priorities of the Community Strategic Plan. Therefore, the final plan will be completely integrated and sit in one document.

The draft Integrated Strategic Plan has been broken down into the following parts:

CHAPTER 1: Our Priorities - Community Strategic Plan

Consultation on the Community Strategic Plan commenced in early April 2017. To find out more and have your say on this component, click here.

CHAPTER 2: Delivery Program & Operational Plan

CHAPTER 3: Operational Plan - Financials

CHAPTER 4: Operational Plan - Fees & Charges

CHAPTER 5: Operational Plan - Budget & Capital Works

The draft Plan can be downloaded as separate chapters, or as three documents - Chapters 1-4, Chapter 5 (Budget) and the draft Fees, Charges and Rentals.
